CEC has served as our City Engineers since 2019. The City of Clearlake is in the midst of a dramatic community revitalization. Dave, Marisa and the CEC Team have been instrumental with our successful aging infrastructure replacement program leading the largest and most impactful projects in the City’s history. We consider them not only staff, but friends. We value the strong relationships that have been forged and look forward to their partnership in continued transformation of our community.
Dave has been the City Engineer and City Surveyor for the City of Colusa since 2014. His experience in City public works infrastructure design, understanding of city budgets and rate structures, and ability and willingness to find solutions that work for the City continue to make a difference to our Public Works Department. Given his depth and breadth of experience he was willing to step into the Planning Department for the past 2 years as necessary! It’s a really great partnership and friendship.
I have been working with Dave and Marisa and the CEC Team since 2018. We have completed numerous large projects together, and they have consistently met our timelines, expectations and do a great job communicating. They have been an important part of the revitalization of the City of Clearlake and have done a great job both as City Engineer, and design engineer.
I have had the privilege of knowing Dave Swartz for the past 25 years, during which he has been an integral part of our team at Danco Group of Companies. Since 2001, Dave has led the engineering efforts at CEC Engineering Team, providing support to our organization. His contributions have been instrumental, particularly in tackling some of the most challenging projects we’ve encountered.
I have known Dave and the CEC Team since 2016, when they began working for the District. What I can say is that they have the utmost integrity, and through some very difficult times have stuck with the District. They meet time lines, and are great communicators.
